Jorrit has always been fascinated by the emotional impact music can have on people. It is his love for the synergy of music and film that inevitably made him devote his life to film music.

 

After graduating at the School of Arts in Utrecht in 2008 Jorrit started working for the LA based film composer Christopher Young. After returning to the Netherlands he established a long term collaboration with Alexander Reumers and Jacob Meijer. Together they have composed music for more than 150 advertisement campaigns and 40 films and drama series.

 

At the same Jorrit started together with Marijn van der Meer the pop music project HAEVN. Today their music has received over 130 million streams on Spotify and is reaching a worldwide audience. Several tracks have been synced in campaigns of Volvo, BMW and the Netflix series Riverdale.
